About
A practitioner, not a sales team
I'm a practicing analytics professional with almost a decade of data science experience and a master's in applied statistics. My work ranges from basic statistical analysis to data visualization to deploying predictive models.
Along the way I've learned what it takes to work with many kinds of stakeholders, define the business questions that matter, and deal with messy real-world data.
I started Future State Analytics after helping friends with small businesses and non-profits. Their data was useful, but analysis always took a back seat to day-to-day needs. My goal is to help organizations like theirs take the next step: work more efficiently, make better decisions, and understand their customers.
